Seattle Mariners Notch Second Straight Late Inning Comback, Nip Orioles 5-4

Seattle’s superstar center fielder Ichiro drove in the winning run for the second consecutive night Tuesday (6-5-07) as the Mariners once again staged a late-inning rally to nip Baltimore 5-4.

The Orioles sailed into the 7th inning with a 4-1 lead as reliever Danny Baez took over for starter Brian Burres.

Baez, who is welcome back to Seattle anytime this season, promptly gave up a leadoff single to right fielder Jose Guillen and walked both left fielder Raul Ibanez and catcher Kenji Johjima to load the bases. Then Baez was sent to the shower stall to think things over.

For most amateur anglers the hardest part of getting started in the sport of fishing is the overwhelming confusion and issue with regards to the type of lures, bait, and tackle that is available. If you look at a fishing magazine, browse the internet or go to a sports and fishing exhibition you will be astounded at the number of “must have” and “sure fire” salmon fishing tackle items that are for sale.

Boxing News Delivers Stats And Gossip

From just about any type of information that is available today through the media and from online sources, boxing news is the best way to stay on top of the happenings in the wide and varied world of professional and amateur boxing.

It is interesting to note that professional boxing has evolved into one of the very few sports that has definitely been instrumental in the development of what is now known as sports entertainment. And in some cases, the boxing news reports and media hype is partly entertainment in and of itself as well.

Play The Game Before You Go And Buy That Cheap Paintball Gun

Chances are that you may be falling under the spell of some of those ads touting bargains to be had with some of the cheap paintball guns out there. The more so if you are a complete newbie to the sport of paintball.

From my own experience I have found that it is absolutely critical that you gain some field experience before deciding on your first paintball gun purchase. It is only common sense to check out all the different aspects of the game where you best excelled or which set your adrenaline pumping, so as to get a good feel for the game before settling into your own niche. Then after discovering where you best fit it will be a whole lot easier for you to narrow down the many choices you have available in selecting the right paintball gun.

The Simple Golf Swing

Golf is such a great game! I started playing about 3 years ago after watching Tiger Woods swing his driver. I just don’t know why but that 20 sec commercial of his swing still send goose bumps down my spine. What followed was a $2500 golf set, tons of ebooks, magazines, David Leadbetter Videos and many hours of happy practice at the Golf Range.

Do An Ironman? Who, Me?

I believe its tragic when a person is moved and intrigued by the Ironman or “Ironstruck”, but yet see it as an impossible dream they will never realize.

Maybe they picked up a triathlon training book and were overwhelmed by the structured workouts and technical talk that seemed far beyond them.

Possibly they look in the mirror and are dismayed by what they see.

Being successful in reaching the Ironman finish line is not necessarily about complex workouts and gear ratios. Often, its being honest about where you have been in life and where you would like to be. Being “Ironstruck” gives you an opportunity to consider where life has taken you, and how that direction can be changed, and how a seemingly impossible dream can become possible.

The Correct Golf Grip - Part 1

A good golf swing starts off with the correct golf grip. There is however no such thing as one correct golf grip. This is the first of a three part series in which I will give you all you need to know to get the correct golf grip for you.

No two people are identical (ok so there are a few twins out there jumping up and down – well I count you guys as one). We are different heights, weight and have different size hands, arms legs and stances – all of which determine the correct golf grip for each individual.

Technical Diving With Bubba And Clem

The highly technical and superior trained divers, Clem and Bubba, went on a dive trip to Cozumel. They were of the new breed of divers, “The Technical Diver”. These diver’s were well equipped. They had twin steel 120 double tanks, and a couple of high tech titanium regulators. Bubba’s Octopus regulator has a 13.45 meter hose. Perfect for those technical deep cave penetration dives. They have no less than six dive computers, all Trimix, Nitrox, and Air-Trox ready! Each has a knife for each leg (one of them has a 10 inch blade), a knife for each arm, and two of those neat little fishing line cutters.
