Using The Service Of Power Leveling In World Of Warcraft
Too many players are using the Service of Power Leveling - it is not right, and it should not be done. Not only does it break the Terms of Service, but it demeans anyone who has worked hard to achieve a high level character.
What is the Service of Power Leveling? This is a service provided by companies online -that you can find by doing a simple Google search- for a price. You can also go through specific people, though this may cost more, or through a friend. You give them your username and password and they will then levels up a specific character.
How Much Does the Service of Power Leveling Cost? ** Various companies charge differently ** different rates for different class - if one class is easier to level than the others, you will be charged less.
On average, you can expect to pay at least $100.00 for forty levels, and you can spend over $1,000.00 for a 1-60 leveling.
How Risky is Using the Service of Power Leveling? ** Using the service of Power Leveling violates the terms of service, which means your account could be deactivated instantly, and there is no way to retrieve any characters on the account.
** When you give someone your account username and password, they can then change your account password and they can lock you out of your own account. You may not even notice this for a while, because many companies will ask you not to log into that account while their services is being used.
** Giving someone access to your account, you are also giving them access to all other characters on that account. That means all your armor, gold, and items on any other characters could easily be sent to another character - one that isn’t yours, but theirs. All the work you’ve put into your character could be gone in a flash, and you could be left with a handful of naked, item-less characters.
It is clearly stated in the terms of service that you may not share your account information with anyone.
World of Warcraft Terms of Service: During the registration process, you will be required to select a username and a password that are unique to the Account (collectively referred to hereunder as “Login Information”). You may not share the Account or the Login Information with anyone other than as expressly set forth herein.
It is also stated later in the terms of service that Blizzard Entertainment is entitled to end your account with no notice, and for no reason known to you. So, if Blizzard was to find out that you are using the service of Power Leveling, your account could be terminated completely, without warning and without any notice.
Overall, it is a good idea to just say no to using the services of Power Leveling.
If you are interested in leveling your character quickly I highly recommend you consider some of the guides written by experienced players.
