OK We all love our PSP’s don’t we, it really is a great hand held console not just for playing games but for watching videos listening to music and even browsing the Internet.
How many have heard of or know what emulator software is, I’m sure there are many of you who are already enjoying emulation software and to them wow isn’t it great. There are probably a few people reading this who don’t even know what an emulator is. First off where the hell have you been, have you had your head in a bucket for the last couple of years. Anyway I trust everybody here has a Sony PSP and thats a good place to start.
Right then basically emulation software allows you to play games from other consoles on your PSP. How good is that? All you need is a piece of software that allows you to play Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) on your PSP. The software is called Snes9x. Now do not expect lightning fast game play and fantastic graphics, if you want that play some original PSP games where you have plenty of that. If you want retro gaming and a bit of fun then go for it with Snes9x. Remember the emulator will only work on firmware version 1.0 if you have anything else do not worry you will just have to a little bit more work before you can play, all the more fun.
As with any download you must be aware of your Internet security, anything you download must be from a trustworthy site. I have known people to download what they thought was an emulator tried to upload it to there PSP and found it contained a virus that rendered their PSP completely useless. I think bricked is the term used, either way a costly mistake to make. Now I’m not trying to put you of, the opposite in fact I just want you to be careful, try to understand what it is you want to do before getting stuck in and download stuff from a place you can trust.
I’ve been playing my PSP with emulation software for a long while now and its great fun. I download all my games to my PC and transfer them on to my memory stick. Its great fun and easy to do.
